Most camera systems fail on the day you need them
The cameras are up. The app works. Then something happens in the parking lot at 11pm and the footage is dark, angled at a wall, or already overwritten.
Almost every bad camera system we walk into was installed correctly and planned poorly. Placement, lens choice, retention, and lighting decide whether footage is useful. We start there, then pick hardware.
Where the cameras actually go
This is a sample commercial layout. Select a camera position to see what it covers and why we put it there. Your building gets walked in person before anything is quoted.
What the system does once it is live
Cameras are the visible part. These are the pieces your managers actually use.
Camera hardware
Lens and resolution chosen per scene, not one model everywhere.
- Varifocal lenses matched to each area
- Vandal resistant housings outside
- Labeled, documented cable runs
User access
Owners, managers, and staff see only what their role needs.
- Role based permissions per site
- Users added or removed in minutes
- Access to footage is logged
Smart motion
Alerts on people and vehicles instead of every shadow and headlight.
- Person and vehicle detection
- Custom zones and quiet hours
- Event search by time or area
Night visibility
The hours that matter most are usually the darkest ones.
- Infrared range sized to the area
- Color at night where lighting allows
- Automatic day and night switching
Mobile and desktop app
Check a site from the office, the road, or the couch.
- Live view and playback
- Clip export to share with police or insurance
- Multi site view for more than one location
Footage retention
Recording quietly stopping is the failure nobody plans for.
- Retention window sized to your risk
- Local storage with off site options
- Health monitoring and recording failure alerts

What a good system actually changes
- Visibility across entries, lots, and back of house around the clock
- Incidents settled with footage instead of two conflicting stories
- Remote viewing that works the first time you try it
- Clean install work that does not embarrass your lobby
- Cabling, network, and cameras handled by one local team
Cameras sit on your network, so the network has to hold up. That is why we handle structured cabling and managed network in house.

Fewer than most quotes suggest, and placed better. We count the spots where you would actually want footage: entries, exits, cash handling, stock, and drive lanes. A 6,000 square foot office usually lands in the single digits. A multi tenant property or a restaurant with a patio runs higher.
Yes. Live view, playback, and clip export from iOS or Android, plus a desktop view. We set up the accounts with you during turnover so you are not guessing at logins later.
That is a decision, not a default. Retention depends on camera count, resolution, frame rate, and storage. We size it to how long it realistically takes you to learn something happened, then confirm the actual window after install rather than promising a number up front.
We run it. Cameras, cabling, switches, and network are all in house, so there is no finger pointing between the camera vendor and the cabling crew. See structured cabling.
They can if they are dropped onto a flat network with no planning. Recording traffic stays local and camera traffic gets separated from your business traffic. This is part of why we look at the whole network before adding cameras to it.
Often, yes. We start with a walkthrough of what is there, tell you plainly what is worth keeping, and what is past end of life. Some systems can be adopted and monitored. Some are cheaper to replace than to keep alive, and we will say so.
