What logistics teams are up against
When your systems stall, so does everything else
A scan that fails is a pick done twice. A phone that drops is a load nobody can route. Here's where technology gets in the way, and how we head it off.
Wi-Fi that drops in the warehouse
Metal racking, forty-foot ceilings, and moving equipment. Coverage that tested fine in the office dies at the dock door.
How we fix it
A real site survey walked at working height, then access points placed around the racking instead of around the conduit.
Phone and dispatch outages
Dispatch is the one room that cannot go quiet. When the phones drop, drivers stop getting answers and loads stop moving.
How we fix it
Modern VoIP with smart routing, mobile apps, and voicemail-to-email, on a network we monitor around the clock.
Old hardware, scattered support
One vendor for the phones, another for the cameras, a cousin for the network, and nobody who owns the whole thing.
How we fix it
One local team across IT, network, phones, and security, with a refresh plan instead of a surprise.
No single view across sites
Two warehouses or six, each one solved its own problems its own way, and nobody can see all of it at once.
How we fix it
Secure links between locations, monitoring on every network we manage, and one number to call for all of it.
It all happens somewhere along the route. Let's follow it.

What usually breaks
A gate camera nobody can pull footage from
The part everyone underestimates
A warehouse is a hostile place for Wi-Fi
Office coverage is a solved problem. A warehouse is not an office, and the difference is why so much warehouse Wi-Fi gets installed twice.
What breaks it
Why the signal dies
- Steel racking reflects and blocks, and it changes every time the layout does
- Ceiling height puts the access point far from the scanner
- Forklifts and loaded pallets move through the signal path all shift
- Cold storage and washdown areas need enclosures, not standard mounts
- Dust and temperature swings shorten hardware life
- Devices that roam badly between access points drop mid-scan
What a real survey is
How we scope it
- We walk the actual space, not the floor plan
- We measure at working height, where the scanner is
- We map coverage against the racking as it stands today
- We test with the devices your team actually carries
- We check roaming between access points, not just signal strength
- You get it in writing, whether or not you hire us
What goes in
What we install
- Business-grade access points sized for the layout
- Structured cabling and switching, run in-house
- Separate networks for scanners, staff, guests, and cameras
- Secure links between sites, and remote access for office staff
- 24/7 monitoring on every network we manage
- Documentation, so the next person can read what is where
Straight talk
Anyone who quotes warehouse Wi-Fi off a floor plan is guessing, and you pay for the guess in dead aisles. A survey takes a few hours. Re-pulling cable through a live building takes a lot longer than that.
We would rather walk your space, tell you honestly what it needs, and put it in writing. If the number is bigger than you hoped, you will at least know why, and you can phase it by area instead of doing it twice.
And if your coverage is actually fine and the problem is somewhere else, we will tell you that too. That happens more often than you would think.

Questions we actually get
Logistics IT, in plain English
Our warehouse Wi-Fi keeps dropping. Can you actually fix it?
Usually, yes, but not from a phone call. We walk the building, measure at the height your scanners live at, and map coverage against the racking as it stands. Then you get a written scope. Half the time the fix is fewer access points in better places, not more of them.
If the real problem turns out to be device roaming or the switch behind it rather than coverage, we will say so instead of selling you hardware.
Can you support more than one site?
Yes. We connect locations securely, keep phones and file access consistent between them, and design it so opening the next building is a plan rather than a scramble. One design instead of several that happen to coexist.
What happens if the phones go down during a shift?
Every network we manage is monitored 24/7, and urgent issues get a real person rather than a voicemail box. Dispatch is the room we plan around, so call routing has somewhere to fall back to and mobile apps keep working while we fix the root cause.
Do you work with our WMS or TMS?
We support what sits underneath it — the network, the workstations, the servers, the backups, and the devices on the floor — and we coordinate with your software vendor when something needs to change. If your platform has specific connectivity or hosting requirements, tell us early and we will build to them.
Can you run cabling in an active building?
Yes, and we do it in-house rather than subcontracting it. We schedule around your shifts, work in phases by area when that keeps the floor moving, and label and document what we install so the next person is not guessing.
How fast do you respond?
A real person answers the phone, and we are local, so when something needs hands on site it does not wait for a flight. Monitoring catches a lot of it before your team notices at all.
